  Tynwald Willow Bend Estate at New Norfolk is 'up there with the best that Tasmania has to offer'. We stayed for one night on our journey back to Hobart and after driving around this town, not finding suitable accommodation, came upon Pat and Gary's gorgeous stately home. With old world charm and history - the estate had everything to offer from the stroll down to the river to see ducks and platypus, to the fine dining and silver service that you usually only get in the best of the best restaurants, to the quaint homely feel of this beautiful house. Pat and Gary were lovely, warm hosts, who made us feel at home and at ease, nothing was too much bother. The food was absolutely beautiful with chef Gary's expertise and Pat's beautiful home-made jams - superb. A beautiful experience in a beautiful part of Tassie. ***** Definitely! Thanks Pat & Gary.   Pat and Gary are beautiful people who can't do enough for their guests. Their breakfast in the main kitchen the following morning is the best experience ever. The entire palce is so warm and friendly. I cannot ever fault it and just wish I got there more often. They will cater for any special needs and thank good ness, NO, noisy unbearable CHILDREN to ruin one's night. It is not cheap, but worth treating ones self with some indulgence and pampering. Highly recommend Tynwald estate for your next sleep over. Don't forget to book for dinner. You will find it way beyond your expectations.
